well come to think of it, i was just outside and had to replace my aftermarket headlights back to stock for state inspection. upon taking out my other headlights it turns out the dude didnt know wtf he was doing and had wires going EVERYWHERE....what are the wires right by the corner lights for...looks like a positive and negitive for something. black wire(assuming that is the negitive) is cut and just hanging there....could this be the reason?!?!

If you have a 96/97 then you have the two main bulbs with 2 wires each (I believe both have silver dots on the wires though) and then you have two corner bulbs on each with 2 wires each. So you have 8 total wires going to the headlights. I'm going to guess you had the halo headlights with the cathode rings? Those require extra wiring for it.

Since the lights come on when you flash the alarm, I'm thinking the wiring to them is fine. If you unplug the dimmer switch/control the corners and the cluster lights will not work. Similar to how if you unplug the hazard switch the turn signals will not work. It also suggests the Small Lights Fuse under the hood is fine and not blown.

And just saying there's wires there doesn't help much. You should either take a picture and post it up or try to elaborate, there's a lot of wires that go through that area.

Plus if you have a friend with an Accord, just borrow his dimmer switch temporarily.
