There is this 
on the left of the screen under everyone's user name. But u can also click on the name and it'll give u the instant message option.

you cant IM people cause you're still a trial user. You'll have to wait 15 days and post like 10 post before you become a honda-tech member. when you do, then you'll be able to IM people!!
