Harness behind intake manifold
Hey guys im taking out all my harnesses to drop my motor its a d16t8 we pretty much have them all disconnected except the two behind the intake manifold...or under the intake manifold in the rear...do anyone have any idea on how to remove this harness...and anyway to get around it?
just unplug the ecu in the kick pannel and un bolt it from the fire wall and fish them through the firewall and drop the motor with the harness attached. easier putting 4 plugs back in then 20.
thats what i get for over-thinking, thanks man. so pull the 3 in back of the ecu and the one green once attached closest to the ecu and pull em through the firewall...how about the right side Harness..is the only one the one on the strut tower hump?
thanks man all system's a go...im having an issue getting the exhaust off at the catback.. have any tips on how to go about this a lil easier...im using a 14mm to hold and a 12mm to break the nut..
Thanks DX, it just took some leverage and some force...it came out i dropped the header so we're clear....Where exactly is that bitch pin people speak of i got a punch i wanna take to it....is it in the rubber book at the end of the shift linkage?
