Default Harness behind intake manifold

Hey guys im taking out all my harnesses to drop my motor its a d16t8 we pretty much have them all disconnected except the two behind the intake manifold...or under the intake manifold in the rear...do anyone have any idea on how to remove this harness...and anyway to get around it?

just unplug the ecu in the kick pannel and un bolt it from the fire wall and fish them through the firewall and drop the motor with the harness attached. easier putting 4 plugs back in then 20.

thats what i get for over-thinking, thanks man. so pull the 3 in back of the ecu and the one green once attached closest to the ecu and pull em through the firewall...how about the right side Harness..is the only one the one on the strut tower hump?

yess unplug it from the other side strut tower and u should be good to go

thanks man all system's a go...im having an issue getting the exhaust off at the catback.. have any tips on how to go about this a lil easier...im using a 14mm to hold and a 12mm to break the nut..

Are the bolts not wanting to move?
Try spraying some pb blaster or something on it

Thanks DX, it just took some leverage and some force...it came out i dropped the header so we're clear....Where exactly is that bitch pin people speak of i got a punch i wanna take to it....is it in the rubber book at the end of the shift linkage?

yes its under the rubber boot and has a C clip around it . be careful beating it out u dont shroom the head of it or it will be a bitch to get out

How do i go about taking that C clip out..i pulled the boot back and got excited...i was like "****...i dont have to deal with a pin"...then i find out it's under a clip. lol...what's the safe way to take it off? thanks for ur help also my man..appreciate it.

Thanks Ron i was actually looking at that before u posted it, it doesnt tell u how to remove the c clip...so what i wanna do is just remove the shifter

thanks man i took off the shifter pole...it's all good now..thanks so much..i think the only question im left with now is which mount to remove first..to take the motor out..from the bottom.

First pop the torque mounts if you have them, and then loosen everything.
Then everytime i have done i always get the rear mount first and then the others.
