headlights problem?

Default headlights problem?

hi i have a crx 1988 si and the passenger headlight stopped working suddently. There is 12v but when you put the light on the connector voltage drop to 0. the fuse is ok .
What does control headlights do it have relay anywhere because I don't know what is the problem thanks

This statement is confusing. Does or doesn't the headlight connector get battery voltage? Please clarify. Have you checked the ground wire?

yes there is the battery voltage indicated on headlight connector when there is no headlight on it but when light is inserted it appear 0vDC and light doesn't light up thanks

Sounds like a bad connector. Where exactly are you checking for voltage in these two different tests? From different or identical locations in the hot wire?

are you saying that it has 12V based on a test light or a DMM?
