So ok I have a 2002 Honda ep3 with k20a3 all stock engine except cold air intake and dc headers and new catalyc converter with magnaflow muffler. I've replaced the MAP sensor the TPS and the idle air control valve . New mobile 1 oil change no coolant in the oil no oil in the coolant no over heating just eratic sputtering at diff toms usually at 2000 Rpms it's like it's a air feul mixture issue it'll make the car bogg out like feel like it looses power while I'm driving it'll jolt like crazy act normal then do it again trans is good no issues . Car doesn't throw any codes but when it does it throws random codes like the MAP sensor one P1129 or tps voltage to high but all that stuffs new so come the f on u kno. But today it sputtered jolted the rpms went crazy . Then just died out car starts still but still does the same thing listed above. When I went to advanced to get my code read she entered my car info in the obd II scanner and the code that came out was p1129 saying ho2s downstream sensor swappped I guess that's the rear o2 sensor? But I did purchase a new catalyc converter it said it was a direct oem replacement . But this issuecwas happening before I even swapped the catalyc converter. I just replaced the cat cuz I thought it was about to go out. Any help would b appreciated !

it is supposivly supposed to keep my engine light off no matter what .... what does that mean exactly i mean at the time it sounded good you know and i tought it would fix my issue but it seems my engine is still acting up like whoooooaaaaa u know....

 

How many miles? When was the last time you changed your spark plugs?

yeah plugs, could be a bad coil pack, i could pull the vtc sensor and give it a good cleaning.
