Rough Idle (Did my research...still no luck)
Hey everyone! I am feeling stuck at the moment and need some guidance.
Let me start off by saying that the car ran fine and idled fine before I started working on it (insert mechanic joke here).
I took a number of brackets and other pieces to have them powdercoated. Once everything was assembled the car started running rough. The rev's were bouncing. I assumed that this was because of air in coolant due to me removing a coolant line at one point. I flushed the coolant and made sure that the air was completely out. Afterwards, the car ran better but still not great. The rev bouncing was gone.
Then I read the codes and it threw P0108 (Map Sensor) and P0113(IAT Sensor). I threw on a map sensor from my Type R (same part #) and it still nothing. However, when disconnecting the plug from the map sensor the car does run better. Again, not great but better.
So what could it be? Any help is appreciated.
Other things to note:
1. New air filter
2. New OEM air hose (old was was cracked)
3. New spark plugs (gapped to OE spec)
4. New spark plug wires (wires are in appropriate sequence)
5. All grounds have been checked.
6. No coolant in oil and no oil in coolant.

Check for sensors not plugged in, or plugged in to the wrong place. You have to go by wire colors since the sensor plugs are not mechanically different.
Do not expect it to run right with any sensors unplugged and/or codes thrown. Resolve all that first.

Make sure the MAP and IAT plugs are plugged into the right sensors. Also, if you powdercoated any brackets that are used for grounding, make sure the contact points are bare and not powdercoated.

Other than that:
Before your work on it it ran fine.
After your work it runs rough.
Retrace your steps and figure out what went during assembly.
Did you remove or adjust distributor? Ignition timing correct?
Have you tried an ECU reset (idle learn)?
Remove and clean IACV and throttle body.
Do a smoke test.

Re: Rough Idle (Did my research...still no luck)
Update: Checked all the connections again and they were fine. Took the IAT apart and there was some gunk in it. Cleaned it up and it still was running the same. Took out the map sensor only to see that the O ring was missing. Put an new O ring in and it ran like new again.
Crazy how such such a little thing such as an O ring can make the car run like crap.
Anyways. Thank you all for you guidance. Much appreciated!

Great looking car.
A smoke test would have discovered that missing o-ring. I made a DIY smoke tester using with a paint can, two step (X-mas tree) connectors, two C-clips and corded rubber hosing. I attach it to my compressor and use a medium sized cheap cigar to create the smoke..works awesome.
