when the car is cold started and im just driving it normally all of a sudden i could feel the lost of power like the car would not go anymore(decelerating) but all of a sudden it would just jump back to normal and i could feel it accelerating while the whole time im holding on the gas pedal on the same spot. it would go away when the car is fully warm up. after warm up the car drive normal.what could be wrong with the car? recently i have change the spark plug/wire, cap and rotor, oil change. this is a 1997 honda civic Lx automatic.

 

jsut have it warm up every time b4 you drive it.

 

but whats the cause of that happen? something has to be wrong/broken

Have you checked the ignition timing?

Did you use OEM ignition parts?

Any CEL codes?

 

no CEL. yes i use all OEM parts. how can i check the ignition timing?
