Default Honda Crx Mugen Body kit

So i was wondering about the mugen body kit. I really want it cause in my opinion i think it looks nice without totally destroying the look of the car like some other body kits do.
Anyways thing i was wondering was where can i get a body kit whether it be the real one or not that looks the closest to mugen if not the real one.

And is the Type M from Extreme Demensions identical to it?

Or the wings west kit?

oh and if any of you have these kits can you tell me how it fits?
And in general how happy you are with it?

Thanks!

most fiberglass kits really suck imo, get a urethane kit, they actually flex so curbs dont completely destroy them. Just make sure your painter know how to pait it so it doesnt spider web and crack the first time you move it.

I will also say the mugen kit looks amazing on the crx, but it is very hard to get a hold of and costs a fortune, so if you can find one take it, otherwise the wings west kit is almost exactly the same except for the corner signals. here are some pics of both

mugen

wings west

I am also in agreance. The mugan is a sick kit and if i wasnt just going for that super clean jdm look i'd go for it. let me know which one you go with and how it fits. It just may go on my next rex.

my rex is going somewhat jdm with a b16b, I am interested in the kit but still thinking about it however my dad keeps urging me to get it if I wanted to go to the extreme, the mugen kit is the only way to have a body kit without being rice, if I dont get the kit I will just slam my car with some nice rims

Okay....going to date myself.

Back in the days, Hans in Alhambra, made duplicate Mugen kits. I did want one back then, but Fglass sucked. I had other Fglass kits and they ALWAYS cracked and simply chipped away. My sponsor back then turned me to use Kalamari...what a mistake. I forgot the other one I used...

I then found urathane kits that were availalbe from Pacific. It was the most durable kit I've had.

King Motorsports wanted an arm, a leg, your fisrt born and your house for the original Mugen kit back then. Importing an original was a very cost affair.

Now that company makes duplicate urathane ones!!! Fro those prices, I am planning to get the kit for my 88 EF hatch next year.

Mugen kits were kits for either 88-89 and 90-91. The 88-89 used the original marker and the 90-91 kits used the bigger markers.

My bad...

Some of my race bike engines are built by Kalamari Racing. Wrong name...but still a squidish kit regardless....

Good luck finding a real one... i had searched for 3 years and only found some beat up one and they wanted like $3k for it and it needed work...

closest thing i've seen is a jdm front end conversion, vis front bumper and wings west sides and rear..

I've heard Extreme Dimensions' kits suck so I wouldn't really trust anything from them.

I hate body kits, I think u should just stick to lips and skirts, MAYBE a rear bumper and keep it at that but if I had to pick one, that Wings West Kit at the bottom straight owns..

I bought a car last year with front and rear Authentic Mugen bumpers. it also came with the clear lenses for the turn signals! And an authentic Mugen duckbill spoiler. All I need is the side skirts to make it complete. Do you have any more info about the urethane copies?

I have an 88 CRX with a new never installed Wings west kit and a VIS Mugen copy front bumper. You can see pics in the link below. None of the kit has ever been installed. The bumper is just mocked up and it fits great.

Don't know if somebody posted this already, I didn't go thru the entire thread, but I saw some skirts here (bottom of page) don't know anything about this place tho:
