General FWD setup for circuit racing info?
I am building a 1970 honda 1300 coupe 9S for circuit racing and tarmac rallys. I've done lots of RWD cars before and have tons of info on setup but can't seem to find any GENERAL info on setting up FWD for use on slicks...eg optimum FR weight, roll stiffness, GC height etc etc. In fact the old general logic of more weight on the driven wheels and more roll stiffness on the non-driven wheels seems to have gone out the window with modern FWD setups where I tend to see wider tracks (and presumably more roll stiffness) at the front than the rear. I'd like some info with numbers/formulas to use as that is a good starting piont when doing something from scratch.
I am sure there is tons of this stuff out there in the ether if someone could just send me a few links.
Thanks- John

with kristo and i see a lot of experimenting ahead. with the age of that car i'm not sure many of us have ever set one up. i would have to start at square one with something like 300/300 rates and adjust 50lb at a time till i had it doing what i wanted
