Please explain exactly what you are trying to accomplish, what the car is going to be used for, your current and future setup, etc. Playing around with the windshield is something that should be considered carefully.

Re: racing windshield (Padawan)
you dont need it. if ur using it strictly as a track car, u still dont need it on the windshield. u can do maybe the rear windows but i wouldnt touch nething up front.

Stick with a glass windshield. When your "racing" and a rock flies through your lexan windshield and kills you or leaves you with one good eye you'll wish you'd had safety glass.

Plexiglass.
Though that's not road legal. That's what they use in funny cars.
Though if you're looking for weight reduction by buying a light weight windshield you're obviously not concerned about road legality 'cause it's a full blown race machine.

I've seen lexan break under very small amounts of force, i used to break it all the time at work with light kicks.
Stick with safety glass man, it's not THAT heavy.
How much do you weigh?

Punctures or breakage isn't the issue, since many track cars do indeed run Lexan windshields. The primary concern is the fact that the windshield is actually an important structural and safety component of the car. Unless you are running a full cage, I would strongly recommend that you stick with a properly installed factory glass windshield.

Re: racing windshield (Lamafia ck)
stick with glass its safer. and if u have never used lexan before i wouldnt even attempt to do ur windshield. ur not gonna get it right the first try. seriously its not worth the hassle or the lack of safety. dont use it ur not gonna get nething out of it especially on a hig 12 to low 13 second car. theres no point.

Re: racing windshield (Lamafia ck)
i would just keep the interior in. its always more impressive to see someone run an 11 with full interior. but i usually take out everything from the front seats back. so if ur sitting up front it looks like it has a full interior but no rear seats or nething in the trunk.

Weird.
Waste of time.
Consider more crucial things such as suspension and engine.
