What's model my 99 V6? EX or LX

I stopped by an auto-part to buy a door lock actuator for my 99 accord v6, the guy asked me what's the model? EX or LX? I don't know, just got that car a few days. A nice customer standing next to me ran out to take a look, he also gave up. I went home to look up the owner manual, papers .. No luck!

I went online Kelly Blue Book looing for used car and comparing all options they have on both EX vs LX - I see the EX closer to my car.

Can you help to identify it please?

im no expert in 6th gens but ill try to help. do you have a coupe or sedan? are your side door moldings color matched or black? do you have a sunroof?

Thanks htekken, it's V6, VTEC, 3.0 Liter 4D Sedan - Auto - side door moldings color matched - ABS not sure - steering wheel radio control - moon or sun roof? electronic slide and popup with tinted glass and slide cover and following opts:

I want to know because they asked when I ordered parts.

Easy

EX rear disc brakes

LX rear drum brakes

Thats for 4 or 6 cyl engines.

Have the guy at the auto parts store check the part number for both models. I think it is likely the door lock actuator is the same for both.

I just checked on AAP website and the part is the same for both models. BWD part number is DLA120. It is about $40.

Here is an easy solution.

1. Find your car's VIN

2. Go to http://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuine/honda-parts.html

3. Enter VIN in search by VIN(first option), then click "search" button

The next page will what your car is, LX or EX, etc.
