steering wheel question

does anyone know if an 06 civic steering wheel has the same thread as a 99 civic
the 06 wheel is from a hybrid and my 99 is a cx

it wouldnt be a thread. itd be a spline. and if you really wanted it gut the wheel cut out the existing spline off the wheel and weld one on from an ek steering wheel.
