Honda's Smallest Steering Wheel
Hey folks, I was wondering if anyone could help, I'm looking for a smaller steering wheel for my EK Civic '99 to help out with the track days n the like, I know I can pretty much buy any aftermarket steering wheel but I would prefer a Honda SRS wheel (safety and the like in mind) any suggestions as to what fits right up ? or at least what could safely be fitted ?
I'd be greatful for your thoughts.

Re: Honda's Smallest Steering Wheel (Problemo)
The s2k steering wheel is awesome, and I beleive it'll mount with no problem. The s2k type-v wheel is the mad crazy bomb, but I hear there are fitment issues.

Re: Honda's Smallest Steering Wheel (euclid)
Oooh – an S2K steering wheel would be nice! Just about anything would be better than the skinny stock EK/EJ wheel. This might be a dumb question, but would you put the airbag from the EK into the S2K wheel or do you use the whole S2k (or whatever wheel you're using) airbag assembly/steering wheel?

Will the srs bag work ok with the Civic's SRS system though ? any known difficulties ? I imagine the srs connectors can't be that complex, I'm really not sure.

Re: Honda's Smallest Steering Wheel (nocaryet)
I've seen it done, but that doesn't really mean it bolts right in I guess. I did a search on google and found this pic, but no mention of if it was modified to fit or not.

Re: (JMU1337)
EG hub is identical to DC (94-01 integra), Prelude (92-6) and few other older models.
smallest OEM steering would be the JDM non-srs ITR steering wheel

Re: (eg6ajk)
The kid has an EK. And to answer your question I'm not possitive but I believe I read on here somewhere that the S2K wheel did fit but the Type-V wheel does not.
Edit: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=534604 Type V is too hot but anyway if you look at that post one kid implies that the normal S2k Wheel will fit EK hub.

nah, I think the Hub is different. And someone mentioned the S2k? Isnt that a complete swap, not just a bolt on?

Sparco milano's.
I found it here, you can check out what all he has. Sounds like a pretty good list of mods, especially for a show car

Re: (jolt-tsp)
I've looked over several threads and it seems that the S2000 steering wheel is a direct bolt on for the 96-00 Civics.
Does anybody know if the cruise control buttons on the S2000 would work with the Civic?

first off, they ARE sparcos. theres other pics available at the site, which show the sparco logo. a hot jdm ride? what are you smoking? who gives a damn about having jdm seats, i didnt know blue suede was jdm, i guess im living in a hole. sparco milanos weigh less than suede recaros and cost about the same brand new, as a set of used recaros. I personally think its smarter to buy sparco's seat since its new, than spend that kind of money on used seats, just to have a "jdm tiite" car.
