Default transmission flush.

i have a 5spd gearbox transmission on my accord. my question is how do i change the fluid? n wut type of fluid to use? wuld royal purple fluid word? on my manual it says it uses motor oil in the transmission help me!

The holes are visible when you take off the front right wheel. The filler bolt is a 17mm bolt that is just above and to the left of the drain bolt which is just a 3/8 drive bolt. I bought a plastic oil holding funnel and tube thing at Walmart in the automotive section for a few bucks that I used to fill up my transmission. You fill up a plastic piece that you can sit in the engine bay and then unlock the locking piece and it'll drain the oil through the tube into the fitting that you sit inside the transmission.

thnx so its specifically for the transmission?...sounds good, and wut type of oil do i use? motor oil? royal purple trans? lemme kno plz

There's a website for a local parts shop that gives good specs for most cars.

ive been using gear oil in my 5 spd trans...cant remember the verocity though....

You can go with Amsoil GM Synchromesh or just go with Honda MTF.
