Car won't start
I just recently bought an Integra Type R, it has 256 XXXKM. The other day I was on my way to work, when I started the car and drove it for about 3 mins. I made a right turn and put the car into 3rd gear, drove for about 1-2 seconds and shifted into 4th. Then the car stalled. I tried to start the car again after I came to a complete stop, but it wouldn't start after.
There was no smoke coming from the engine, nor did I hear anything loud when it stalled. The timing belt is fine, and there is fuel. I just changed the spark plugs and the rotor in the distributor, planning to change the ignitor next.
If anyone is able to give any feedback that would be great.

Happened to me after I had changed the cap and rotor. I changed the ignitor and coil and fixed the issue. If you change the ignitor you should probably change the coil and vice versa.
PS: ignitor is not cheap

Yeah, I know. I just went to Acura to order just the ignitor and they quoted me $250 + tax. I guess I'll be making another trip to order the coil. Thanks for the input.
P.S Your car didn't start after you changed the cap and rotor right? It didn't stop running out of no where correct?

It started right up as soon as I swapped parts, same scenario I was driving around the corner shifted to third and the car went dead. It would crank but wouldn't turn over.
I got my Ignitor from Len before he left Acura and he got me a price which was about 15% cheaper then retail shipped. I think there is another vendor on here selling OEM parts for cheaper.
My buddy told me what happened was I replaced the cap and rotor before with a part that was non OEM (big mistake) supposedly the OEM cap and rotor have a higher draw than the aftermarket OEM parts. My coil and ignitor became used to running at a lower draw so when I replaced it the last time with OEM parts my coil crapped out. Never again will i go non OEM.
