what tires for 15x7
Well I want the streched tire look not too aggressive just so the lip pokes out a lil past the tire. So I guess im wondering what size tires people are running on 15x7 to get this look?
No. 185/60-15 tires can only be mounted safely on wheels 5.0-6.5 inches wide. It will be unsafe to mount them on 15x7 wheels. DON'T DO IT.
Also, 185/60-15 is an "oddball" tire size; only a few tires are available in that size, and they are not very good.
Based on your username, I'm guessing you have an '88-91 Civic or CRX. If so, you can put 195/50-15 tires on 15x7 wheels without any problems. And there are plenty of better tires available in 195/50. That's the way to go if you have 15x7 wheels on an '88-91 Civic/CRX.

Just wondering what size tires to run on a 15x7 to get the the streched look but not to aggressive just so the lip pokes out a lil bit. The wheels are 15x7+25 offset and they are goin on an 01 civic that has 205 50 16s and I want to find the equivilent to that size tire so the ride height doesn't change. Any help is greatly appriciated
Stretched look is going to be practically impossible with a sidewall height needed to match 205/50/16's. You'd need to have a tire that's narrower than 6" wide, to achieve any sort of stretched setup on a 7" wide wheel. A close setup for what you're trying to achieve would be a 145/80/15... which doesn't exist.

What you should be trying to match is not 205/50-16 (which is a bit small in diameter), but rather, the stock size for a 2001 Civic, which is either 185/70-14 or 185/65-15, neither of which should be mounted on a 15x7 rim. The best sizes for a 15x7 rim on this car are 195/60-15 or 205/60-15. Either of these sizes can be safely mounted on a 15x7 rim. If you're looking for a size that looks more "stretched" rather than "bulging", go with the 195/60.
The availability of good tires is identical in both these sizes, 195/60-15 and 205/60-15. If you don't need to use these tires in snow or frigid cold, there's only one good summer tire available, the Yokohama AVS ES100. If you need to use them in winter conditions as well as warmer weather, there are several good all-seasons available: the Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position, Goodyear Eagle GT, and Kumho Ecsta ASX.
