Default new antenna place

what about putting a antenna where the rear water squirt thing is?

about a 4-6 inch black antenna 45 degree angle at the top middle of the back of the car?

can it be done?

also. if i take off the rear wiper can i bypass the rear resovior up front so no water will come out of the back squirt?

I've been thinking about doing this since day one. But since I'm lazy and hardly listen to the radio, I'll pass.

Taking off the headliner is more work then you think.

yes it can be done. i had one on my gs-r and haven't gotten around to doing my R yet. just drop the headliner(it doesn't have to be taken out. just take off the rear gasketand take out the dome light.it should take 10 min start to finish) cut off the hose with washer fluid. don't worry it won't spill out. twist the hell out of the squirter on the roof til it comes off. get a uni-bit on the drill and start making the hole bigger. once that is done you have to cut away some of the roof support to fit the nut underneath the antenna to fasten it to the roof. tighten it up and run the wire to your deck. spend the xtra money and get a powered antenna$30. just tap into the remote wire form the radio so the antenna switches on w/ the radio sorry if i missed anything but if you're fairly handy i'm sure you figure i

Now who's going to be the person who finally gets me an antenna plug.

It's pointless to have an antenna when you have no radio or speakers.

I'm sporting black electrical tape there until it gets shaved.... which isn't going to be anytime soon.

I don't think tape would stick to my car due to the amount of dirt/dust on my car.
