Does a 96-98 Spoiler have to be with a 96-98 Deck?
I finally found a '97 wing to replace my shitty ***, terribly made OEM replica that came with the car. Worst thing ever made, ask me why if interested.
I didn't notice but after cleaning up the bolt holes and spraying some rustoleum over them for good measure, I went to install the wing and I noticed something that would inhibit my light from working. The wire hole on my '00 deck is on the left, the wing has the wire on the right. The wing is hooked up, I just don't have my LEDs. No biggie for now. I mean, I can remove a bolt, run with three and use the bolt hole for the wire, but that's kind of shitty. And even then, there won't be enough pressure on the seal to keep water from coming in.
So, do decks and wings need to match up? Or do I just have a non - USDM wing?
