All right, sorry, I'm too lazy to look under the car or flip through the Helms. Looking at this picture:



Looks like the gas tank is mostly under the rear seat, right? So, basically, the tank ceases to exist aft of the fuel pump hole, and it's safe for me to drill in the upper part of my spare tire well, right?

heh, i just dropped mine to fix that leak. its right ahead of rear crossmember.... does that help ya? So about 4-5 inches foward from the rear of the rear fender wells.


edit: maybe a lil farther after seeing my car out the window... 7-8" forward

Thanks. I was just making sure it's safe for me to drill into the spare tire area. I dunno why I even asked 'cause I just went ahead and drilled away, sniffing for gas.
