Default 3" exhaust almost complete...

Well have all the pipes, hangers, 1 flange, resonator, cat.... just waiting on the muffler to come in (hopefully tomorrow or wednsday). Went to my local muffler shop and was shocked (in a good way) when they said it'll cost $75-100 to install... I was thinking they were gonna rape me for the install. So I should have the 3" on the car by the end of thursday as long as the muffler gets here before thursday.

In other news I will be picking up an LS tranny before the end of the week, will just need ALL the other parts needed for a swap and I'll be on my way with that. So if anyone has any 94+ integra swap parts (still need a list) for sale let me know I need to buy em up.

Swap, my auto has been a perfect tropper and caused me absolutly no problems for 5 months at 7-8psi but I am doing the swap in favor of more enjoyable driving and make the full potential of my car.

All piping, flange, hangers + resonator was $206 shipped
3" Cat was $78 shipped from ebay guy
Magnaflow 3" muffler was $151 shipped,

Install is going to be $75-$100

So high estimate of $535

So they have to weld all the pipes, hangers, and muffler still? And only charging your 75-100? That is good...

Thats what I said.... I told him what I needed done and listed all the parts and he says, "So you have everything we just need to put it on?", I was like yea with slight modifcations to the piping and what not.... and he replied, "Ok then it will probably be between $75-$100 for labor"

I think in the end it might be more since mabye he mis-interpreted the fact that I had everything ready to go, mabye he didn't account for the fact he's gonna have to cut the pipes alot to get it to fit perfect, and weld the hangers himself in the right positions etc...

The resonator is 18" long, and the muffler shop is just a meineke in cedar grove up the street from me. (they did custom cutting and welding of my 90deg elbow so I could put the wastegate sideways)

You might want to reconsider that resonator. I put one on and it didn't really do much. If you want something to really dampen the noise try a round $" dia. muffler with perforated core. Should flow the same as the bullet muffler you have (as opposed to a louvered core glasspack) and quiet things down a bit more.

Well its really too late for now cause I have to put the exhaust on tomorrow, and will just have to make due, a friend has nearly the EXACT setup I have and its not bad at all sound wise, its REALL low and deep driving normally.

Oh well thanks for the heads up tho.

Think its gonna be a prob to have a 2.5 flange somehow welded onto the cat (which is 3") becaues I'm positive they don't have any larger flange, reason being I want to be able to bolt up stock exhaust come inspection time next year so I don't wanna use the 1 3bolt flange and cut my dp etc....
