Tuning for 300whp = tuning for 500+whp
Looking for tuners or those with actual experience/knowledge for input please.
First build was a stock gsr turbo that put down 300 whp.
Last build was gsr turbo with pistons/rods and built head, put down 460 whp.
Current build is a sleeved 2.0 gsr turbo, pistons/rods and built head. Goal is 500+whp.

My question for the tuners is...
Is tuning this type of set up for 300whp basically the same when tuning for 500+whp??
I know tuners add boost and adjust air/fuel ratios, can adjust timing, and point of vtec engagement.
So other than the fact that certain performance parts(turbo, fuel injectors, etc.) need to be upgraded to handle more boost and make more power... is the METHOD of tuning the same?
or are there other factors that tuners need to adjust and look at when tuning for 500+whp??

Yes, the concept is exactly the same.
One major thing to note is that when using different fuels then general pump gas they will respond differently to different amounts of timing & a/f ratios etc.
