3/16th brake line for turbo feed. restrictor needed?

Default 3/16th brake line for turbo feed. restrictor needed?

budget build(real real budgetlol) and i have some 3/16th brake line around. I was wondering if i wil need a restrictor with line that small?

Depends on what turbo you have. A 3/16 brake line is very close if not the same as a -3 an line.

Its a OEM turbo of some sort(87 T-bird comp housing, just not sure on the exh housing ). havent been able to get e straight answer what it is from. The hard line that is on the turbo is larger then 3/16th. mabye 1/4 inch

can you read anything off of the housings? What ever car company used it on there cars probably bought it from an outside company

-x = x/16 so yes -3 = 3/16", -4 is 1/4", -8 is 1/2" etc... yes even with a line that small an oil restrictor is usually necessary.

Dam. now i need to find one of them . I may just crimp the line in a few spots lol
