Hey guys, I got a couple of questions about some parts I'm thinking about adding to my RC51 and if any of you have these additions can you let me know what you think about them.
* Sato banzai passenger peg adapters
* HRC rear suspension link
* Scotts steering damper

Did you have to get a new kick stand whenever you put the new rear suspension link on? Cause I read some where that since it raises the rear the kick stand on the RC might be to short.
Yeah that was one of the first thing I did was add a 42 rear sproket

It raised the bike about half an inch and the kickstand was a bit Squirrely on anything but flat pavement. If you daily ride it or park it someplace besides your garage/apartment I would recommend getting an extending kickstand just to be on the safe side.
Without an aftermarket rear shock you'll be fine. Mine with the DK link and a penske is jacked way up and leans over real bad. I rarely ride it on the street though.
The link and damper are good upgrades. Me personally, the passenger pegs are a waste but to each his own.
A PC3 if you don't have one already will clean up the powerband a lot. IMO though the bike needs suspension front and rear desperately and the link is only a temporary band aid to this.

Do you know where I can order an extended kick stand?
I already got a PC3 but that was one of the first things I did whenever I added my Sato pipes.

just take it to a welder and have them extend it. At one point sato made an extended one but not anymore. Someone on Speedzilla was selling adjustable ones but they were expensive. I would just remove it and take it to a local welder or shop to either add a small pad on the bottom of the kick stand or cut and weld it to make it longer.

I've got a varium link on mine, exact same as the HRC, just a bit cheaper. The damper is a must in my opinion. And the pegs, well, I think you'd have to have a passenger that wouldn't mind the heat. That back "pad" isn't really comfortable.

Nope not yet I tried but the computers in Iraq have filters on them and wouldn't let me bring it up so I'm definitely going to check it out when I get back home.
