Default 1997 Accord issue

The lights for my gauges don't work but all the other lights like the bright light indicator, CEL, etc. all work. The bulbs are all fine. No fuses blown. Anyone have any ideas?

if no fuses are blown, there are no shorts. and how do you know all the bulbs are good if they're not working? have you taken them out and tested them?

is it the backlighting or the bulbs in the cluster visor? maybe a break in the circuit for the backlighting if it's the rear bulbs. you can break open the cluster and see if you need to.

Im thinking it may be a short. I pulled the bulbs out and they all work. I tried following a wiring diagram to see where the gauge lights get power from but turns out I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to wiring. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Its the backlighting for the speedometer, tach, etc. and the ones up top that don't work.

again, if all the fuses are still good, then you don't have a short. you need to use a wiring diagram for the dash lighting to see where the power comes in.

Need to test but I would jump ahead to the dash dimmer switch for the backlighting, test that. If it is working, sorry have fun chasing wires.

You Need To Check the Instrument Dimmer On The Dash, When It is At Night Go Out and turn on your park lights. If Your outside lights are on that tells you your switch is good,Your heater panel buttons, ashtray light,And Defroster Switch Also should Light Up. There Are Three Of Four Bulbs In The Back Of The Cluster For the Speedometer,Tach, temp ,Fuel gauge to light. The Cluster has Three connections To It On Top. If These Lights Do Not Come On But Outside They Do More Than Likely The Instrument Panel dimmer is Bad Or Turned All The Way Down .
