Are you able to extend the stock top hat to accompany the larger diameter of the tein supersports shock body without hitting the studs? Ive noticed the shock body of koni's or tokico etc have much smaller shock bodys in which the extending tubing fits between those studs no prob. I'm gonna go check it out just wanted to double check on here to see if anyones tried it yet. Car is 91 crx

 

I thought Tein SS were shorter and larger diameter, so that you did not need top hats.

 

they are shorter and larger they just feel really underdamped and feels like its hitting the bumpstop constantly. I think i might take them off and put my prokit koni back on.

 

So, why did you take the Koni's off? How did the spring rates compare? Did you have top hats with Koni's?
