Default Sohc vtec in a Dx crx

My freind is putting an ex motor in his dx crx, I know you have to convert the wring for 4 injectors, but he was wondering if he could just put the dx intake manifold on the ex motor just so he could get aroudn untill he has money to pay for the wiring conversion, thanks.

yes wait until uc an do it
u can use the stock dizzy and Intake manifold, but dont since its going to sacrifice the performance real bad..... i been there done that and its not worthed.... the wiring isnt that hard....do a little more search and u will find otu isnt that bad...

The engine would starve for fuel if you reached Vtec with the stock INT. MAN.! And yes you need the Si dizzy if you don't have it already.
