So sum dick broke off my passenger mirror to my 2001 Honda Accord. The dealer wants 2 hundred something for a new one!! I need some ideas both after market and or good place to buy a factory one. Because the old one is just dangling there how do I remove it??

 

There is a black plastic triangle on the inside of the door where the mirror is mounted. Pull at the lower rear corner of this cover and it should just pop off. If similar to my 4th gens, there are three screws that hold the mirror assembly to the door. Remember to unplug the electrical connector. Go to a U Pull type JY, you should be able to get one for about $25.
