Early today while going to work i turn on my car and it was fine.10 hrs later i turn my car on to go home the Engine shake for about 6 sec.I turn it off right away.I turn it back on and it didnt happen again but the check Engine light show.Could it be the Engine mount? let me know any ideas.

 

When the check engine light comes on it's throwing a code (DTC). Get someone to put a diagnostic tool (OBDII) to it and tell us the code. I think Autozone still does that, don't quote me tho.

A bad engine mount wouldn't make the MIL illuminate.


As noted, find out which codes are being thrown by taking it to an auto parts store (or shop) that does free code scanning, then come back here and post the code(s).

 

Don't worry yet. A lot of times it's something simple, we just gotta figure out what.

 

Autozone will scan codes for free we need the codes other wise were just shooting in the dark.

UPDATED the code was on the Spark Plugs went bad got them replace thx guys
