Rubbing Noise Hard Cornering
Ok I just replaced passenger side transaxle and ball-joints etc on my 2000 Honda Accord. I have Koni Yellows, Einbach Pro-sports Springs 1.2” drop . Once I installed the new axle with CV joints I get this load thumping or knocking noise when making hard left turns. It almost sounds like the ABS system is rubbing.
Any suggestions what to look for.

Did you purchase NEW axles or reman'd units? The reman'd units can be a crap shot. Did you removed any part of the inner fender? Are you sure you put it back correctly?
If you search Autozone here you will find that their re-furbished axles are shoddy. I've had good results with new Cardone brand axles. They are cheaper than the reman'd units and do not require a core.

I will check out those Cardone's because the driver side will be due for relpacement soon.
The noise only ocuurs when hard cornering ( down force on the side the axel was replaced); sounds like someone is holding a scrediver on those tabs on the ABS sproket.

Raise the car up and check the front wheel bearing. Push and pull at 3 O'clock and 9 O'clock positions, and do the same at the 12 and 6 O'clock positions. Check both sides. There should not be much play in 3 and 6(steering components will allow a bit of movement) but 12 and 6 should be relatively solid.
Ok so I took the whole thing apart and I noticed there was very little clearance between the top of the ball joint and ABS sprocket, it was rubbing on the top off the ball joint. Thanks again to my friends at Kragen for selling me the wrong ball joint or there Installation tool not working properly. I will be visiting them tomorrow for the $43.00 Moog ball joint rather that the cheap one they sold me.
It's weird that it would only rub under hard cornering. When the suspension gets compressed, the wheel/knuckle move up while the LCA is being pushed down by the spring. That should pull the ball joint in the knuckle downward, away from the axle.
The only thing that would explain your situation is play in the bearing. The play would allow the wheel to camber on the bearing, moving the outer CV joint downward and onto the ball joint.
