Icon3 B16 Tranny for GSR w/ LSD? OPINIONS NEEDED!

My friend has a jdm gsr tranny with LSD and told me he will trade mw his transmission for my b16 tranny plus $200 on my end.

Does this sound like a good deal for the transmission?

Post back and lmk what you guys think! Any help is appreciated...

Thanks,

Josh

What sort of driving/application?

I would prob keep the B16 tranny though or trade it for a non-lsd GSR tranny if you need the longer gears. The oem Viscous LSD's aren't worth paying extra for.

true. and i would also get as much info on the transmission as you can before making your final decision

like: how many miles
its service history
grinds
pop-outs
condition of casing
condition of the transmission throughout the entire rpm range
service history of synchros

etc

if u swap trans to a gsr from the b16 ur car will slightly be slower. also when u shift gears from 1 to 2 u will drop out of vtec for a sec then back into it. the gsr has sligty longer gears which are better for highway driving.
