Default Help with distributor..

Alright i've got a 99 civic dx with a obd2b b18b1 swap from a 98 integra. The car is going to be converted to obd1 via jumper harness running on a p75 ecu. I'm going to be replacing the engine harness and distributor but am confused which distributor i need...

If i use a d16y7 engine harness from a 99-00 civic, which distributor do i need to use on the obd2b b18b1 engine. The oem distributor for the b18b1 has a big style plug, but the y7 harness has a smaller style plug so what do i do????

Cut and splice a big plug on the engine harness or swap your D-series CYP/CKP/TDC sensors into your B-series distributor housing.

Any idea where to get just the plug?? Can you cut and splice or depin the plug on the end of the distributor and repin the smaller plug onto the distributor?

Open both distributors and just swap the internals.
That will give you the proper connecting plugs and you won't destroy the loaner Distributor.

So swap ALL the obd2 d series internals into the b series housing, when doing that it swaps the plug/wires too? Direct fit into the b seres housing?

Direct fit. Don't swap the mechanical aspects, just the electronic stuff. And yes it swaps the plugs/wires.
