WTB: 92-00 stock rear shocks CHEAP NC
I have a 94 sedan. tore up the threads on one rear shock, broke the head off the bolt on the other. I have new rear lca shock mount bushings from honda I will install, just need a couple stock old rear shocks with good threads, non-stripped allen socket, and un-bent piston so I can put my stock springs back on and sell the car. I don't care if they're somewhat blown..
hopefully I find somebody that will just ship them to me and i'll pay shipping. I'm not paying a chunk of money for some old crap shocks.. thanks.

Uhm. Maybe you didn't read the title... it says CHEAP. As in like some old original 15+ yr old shocks that the normal person would just throw away after changing to aftermarket. If THAT is what you have... then you've bumped your head wanting $75. I can buy a brand new pair from egay for a few dollars more. I'm talking about like $20.. $12 for shipping and enough left over for a big mac or something for a persons troubles.
However... if I end up keeping the car then I won't need the stock shocks as I'll be turning to a full coilover setup. Thanks anyway!

I am local but not getting off my butt for the LOW of a price, not asking $75 for a set but still!

You must be spending too much time on CarolinaHondas.com looking at your asking price....no money having kid wants to spend nothing on shocks (even blown) so you can sell the car to someone else with busted shocks.....NICE! Maybe you should check the prices at your local junk yard, come back and see if $20 shipped is even fair price to offer!?

the statement "no money having kid wants to spend nothing on shocks (even blown)." not sure i quite understand that statement. you saying Im a "no money-having kid" that wants to spend nothing on shocks? Thats funny considering i'm almost 30 years old, married, 2 kids, mortgage, couple vehicle payments etc... and no... i don't want to spend hardly anything on some old crap shocks that I need to use as a filler for the time being. If I wanted to spend $75 on some **** shocks, i would save myself the hassel and go to ebay and just spend 100 for a brand new pair with a warranty. I think some times the idiots on here think their crap with worth its weight in gold when they really just need to get over theirselves.
for example... $90 for two brand new shocks shipped...

why would i pay ANYTHING close to that for 15+ yr old used up shocks...

uhm... if you pick up almost any 15-18yr old civic that still rides on the stock suspension, there is a good chance the shocks are shot. or tired at best. right now I have one with the infamous bolt head snapped off, and one with the lock socket in the piston totally stripped. I have new lca bushings to put in with new lca shock bolts. Just needed a shock to put in its place. I know I have personally thrown away many stock shocks in the past. My cousin in NY had a full set that were perfectly fine that got hauled off not too long ago and thrown out.

I just came back to appologize to you and the guy that said he has a pair for 75. I acted like a child with my initial response... so I'm sorry to you both for the attitude.
sorry.. $75 for 2 shocks is way more than I'm looking to spend. Thank you for the offer..
I'm sure junk yards do want a lot for old shocks... I was ideally looking for anybody that had changed out their suspension and had some laying around that they didn't care about. Somebody that would care to just be able to help somebody out. More than likely I'll be keeping my current civic and just doing a whole suspension setup. That will depend on my works bonus payout this winter.
anywho.. sorry again for my attitude filled responses guys..
**** IF anybody out there does have some shocks laying around that they just assume give away b/c they don't see it as a opportunity to make money over just helping out a fellow enthusiest... hit me up. Thanks.
