okay i have a 1990 dx that has been problem after problem! this is my first honda and first swap ive doen so this is probly something basic. like i said i have a 1990 dx with a gsr swap i bought thee car from someone i know with a harness and the car was running with that setup(already converted to mpfi)
. i have a 97 gsr converted to obd1 runs good exept. not cracking vtec and my alternator is not holding charge. when the car dies from alternator not chargeing (even with a new alt.) the fuel pressure will drop to 20lbs. and would die if i turned the lights on. i know that this is probly a simple wiring issue or im missing something that regulates the charge . but im mostly worried about the alt. the vtec can be rewired but i dont know were to start with the no charge problem. please help! i wanna drive my car around!
