Default B20b basemap chip?

My crx has always acted kinda weird when getting on it. the acceleration seems inconsistent. I am pretty sure it is the tune. My ecu is chipped. I want to get it re tuned, but I would have to drive over 3 hours to the nearest tuner. The motor itself is stock, I just have a short ram intake, header and exhaust.

I have seen these websites that offer chips for stock motors.

www.xenocron.com
www.phearable.net

I have heard a lot of good stuff about both the sites.

Would it be safe to get a custom chip for a b20b? and on the mods just say intake header and exhaust? They don't recommend that you actually keep using the modified chip, only use it to drive to your tuner. But thats for forced induction applications. But I am basically stock aren't I?

They do offer chips for stock motors, but the b20b isnt on the list

ialso have an ef with an all stock b20b and it is safe to get the chip tuned for the b20 basemap. also you want to get the fuelmap higher cause the b20 needs lots of fuel to run efficiently or good injectors

I put the chip in, and the car wont run. I start it, and it sorta starts cutting out until it just dies.
