I don't remember exactly. Get some 1/4", 5/16" and some 3/8". The **** is cheap so buy all 3 - it won't hurt you.

2 foot of each will run you a total of about $6. I think you will survive . . .

I just bled my brakes for the first time. I bought 5/16" and 3/8" tubing (I think each was under 20 cents/foot at the hardware store). The 3/8" felt right going on, but was too loose to seal. The 5/16" worked OK. Eventually it started leaking a little; it helps if you cut a little off the end between wheels, since the tubing will stretch a little. Next time I might try 1/4" to see if I can get it over the bleeder.

what you do is buy the smaller one and just heat it up with a lighter and then it will mold itself to fit on the bleeder. then it shouldn't leak at all. good luck

should be 3/16 inner diameter tubing. (5/16 OD)

Another good way that I have found works is get if you have one of your vaccum lines laying around and cut a little piece of it. Being itself ruber it seals right everytime.

get the smallest ID you can fit over the nipple, helps you keep things airtight so you can see if there are bubbles.

Maybe it's what you're talking about, but I really like the very rubbery tubing for brake bleeding. I'm not sure how to describe it, but hobby stores sell it as gas line for R/C stuff. It will stretch to fit anything from a small Wilwood bleeder, to a standard honda bleeder with no problems.
