i had the bad fortune of buying ebay motormunts for my short bucket.. however they turned out ot b a POS cuz they dont even fit ... now
i wanna know if someone knows a good page where i can find motormounts that i can i use for a b18 swap on a 91 crx (hasport are always overprized)

 

actaully you can find hasport mounts competively priced from one of our dealers or ebay

just use OEM mounts from a 90-93 integra

the engine bays are identical in everyway

HASports are expensive because they are brand new, fit well, and are stiffer then stock.

OEMs from a junkyard will run less then $100 most likely

 

^ dude, integra engine mounts will NOT fit in a crx chassis.
If it did, then why are all these after market retailers making engine mounts if consumers can reuse stock mounts from another car?

 

bought mine mounts off ebay, but they are Yonaka branded mounts. I guess they are ok. they make seats like the recaro seats and full coilover suspensions kits. hey are about $200 depending where u get them. theses are good and no problem with them what so ever. 2 years + and running.

Don't and I repeat don't buy Avid mounts or stuff. I bought a shift linkage fro, them fir my swap and my fifth gear is too far to the right. I also hear stories on HT that when you drop it too loe it will hit your crossmember.

Thats my info. Best of luck is to look on Craigslist and buy some used name brand @ a low cost.



FORGOT TO ADD: SEND THOSE MOUNTS BACK TO THE SELLER! TELL HIM WHAT HE ADVERTASIED WAS NOT RIGHT AND IT DIDN'T FIT. COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY IN EBAY. HE MIGHT OF SENT YOU THE WRONG MOUNTS.

 

This is the exact reason why you shouldnt halfass things. Every day I come on here I fear more and more how low people's common sense will drop. You get what you pay for in this world. And I have seen things like 100 dollar suspension setups and birdshit welded engine mounts. These are products with no engineering or development behind them and people would rather cheap out with a completely unsafe product.

ANYWAYS... OP save up quit being a cheapass and get something that wasnt made by a child in ten minutes, even if you have to buy used Hasports. Please dont put another honda out there that is not roadworthy or safe, there are already enough of them.

You can put a B series anywhere a D once was with oem mounts. that is what made honda popular in the first place

companies sell aftermarket mounts because new ones are STIFFER and better for power

 

pretty sure teg motor mounts arent gonna work on a crx. not a direct fit, have no idea why you think thats possible. if you have a b series swap with oem mounts id like to see it.

 

^yep. definitely cannot use stock teg mounts

 

yes you can do this with a 92-95 civic and 96-00 civic

88-91 civic/crx was different and there isnt an oem mount combo that works

 

ive always been happy with innovative mounts and on the whole da mounts in an ef not gonna happen mounts between certain year DA's are even different

 

We make them for both USDM Cable B EF swaps and for SIR EF8/9 Replacements

 

OEM teg mouts will not fit the ef, and what mout are you having a problem with, cuz the rear mount you do need out of the da and install that to the aftermarket one. and
if you also notice that the rear mount that bolts on to steering rack has four wholes,
the after market mout need to me moved over to the right. i got a set from ebay about 6 year ago and mine bolted up right.
