switching engine harness plugs?
I've noticed the EK4 engine harness I have (is for some reason) missing the the Power Steering pressure switch plug.
Looking at Katman's OBD2a pin out the dark green wire for the PS switch should be on pin 16 of connector C (the blue ECU plug). Its missing the plug, the wire and there's an empty slot at 16
.
I no longer have an evap purge solenoid fitted. The plug for this is identical to the power steering switch plug.
I have an OBD2a to OBD1 conversion harness with an OBD1 ECU.
My question is can I swap the evap purge solenoid wire in the conversion harness onto pin 8 of connector B (OBD1 side of the harness)? Will this work?
Im guessing the other wire on the PS plug and evap purge solenoid plug are just grounds?
