DX to EX trans swap.....speedo gear?

Quick question here. When switching from a DX to an EX transmission, which speedometer gear/sensor do you use? The one from the DX trans, or the EX trans?

Either one, they are both interchangeable

Yeah, I ended up going with the EX sensor, but wasn't sure if the gearing was different enough to make a difference.
