Icon2 brake line question

boys question for you

when i was connecting my stainless steel braided lines up to the hard line of my car.. i noticed that there was a little break fluid coming out from the top
i tried to tighten it.. it wont budge anymore

do you guys use Teflon tape before you thread it in?

any ideas?
thx

teflon tape won't help because it's a compression fitting. the threads don't do the sealing. re-inspect both sealing surfaces for damage, defect or dirt.

edit: taping it may help but it won't fix the root cause.
