EJ1 codes... (P28A02)
At highway speeds (when accelerating) my "Check Engine" light comes on, but when I shut the car off and re-start the light goes out. This has happened four times to me in the past two weeks, and now the EJ1 guilt is setting in...
I am thinking it is the O2 sensor since my engine was built to run rich an has possably fouled my O2. I would like to try to get a code, but I forgot where/which plug to insert my jumper...
It is a 1994 Honda Civic Coupe with a stock P28A02 ECU, but I am running with a GSR block, PR3 head, and Y80 trans. Have had no problems for the past 55,000 miles.
Web sites and pictures would help alot if possable!
Thank you,

I had to replace the cat after 9,000miles on the engine. Was told that I am running too rich and will continualy be going through cat's and O2 sensors if I do not lean-out my mixture.
Problem is, I don't know how!

Thank you RonJ@HT but,
Where is my service plug located, and what does it look like?
I feel like an idiot because when I purchaced it from the original owner, I had to diagnose the CEL to prove to the Honda Dealership that I did not need a new ECU. (it was the O2)
Then again, that was over 5 years ago...
Any pictures would be of GREAT help.
Thanks,

Thank you SchuittD16,
I am showing a 43 code without the engine running, so I will speek with my Honda Mechanic. The next time my CEL comes on while I am driving, I made myself a jumper wire and keep it in my coin tray (ash tray).
Thank you very much!
