Default auto transmission problem

i have a 94 ex auto. when you drive the car for a little bit its like it goes into neutral and wont try grabbing or anything, no reverse just nothing then turn the car off and start it right back then drives good again for another couple miles and does same thing and turn the key off and back on and goes more. i know a bad transmission would slip all the time and i was thinking something electrical since you turn it off and right back on and the transmission starts working again.

Low or old ATF? Have you tried a couple of ATF drain and refills? Make sure to use Honda or Honda-recommended ATF.

that transmission is toast. look into finding a new one. i had this same problem. im sure your transmission fluid is worn or burnt. there's not much you can do to save a auto d series transmission. they have no filter you can change or a pan. i had this problem i threw some lucus in and it got me home and i parked it to do a 5 spd swap. its not electrical. it will just get worse over time if u keep driving it.
