Actually I did something retarded. On that bust turn, the first 5 or so laps I've braked as normal and noticed that I could clearly carry more speed through it. Well, I decided not to brake and see what happens. I was thinking I could flat foot it. lol

nah just ripped my splash guard off and melted a little to my cat. nothing major at all. I daily drive this car too haha. Alignment is a little off also.

well ive been off many times in my track days of learning so im pretty familiar with what it feels like when its not gonna happen, so i just go straight off instead of spinning out and doing 1080s off the track. been there before, no fun and scary ****. id rather have a "controlled off" then chancing it. dont get me wrong though, it isnt like i just give up into submission and go off. there are many many times where i save it but that one was just too extreme as i last looked down at my MPHs right before going off it was at 90ish +. i was probly exiting faster than that though because as you are going off, you naturally attempt to reduce the situation by braking (reflex). so i think when i looked down as i was going off, i was already braking >_< lol

K powa... Didnt someone K a fit already... Yea they did...thats what you need.
Im glad you just let the car stay off track and let it coast.. correcting at that speed even though it was a Fit.. dangerous. Good Job.
Thats a pretty big track, but everything is big in Texas.
Almost looked like you were driving on the freeway, until i saw the EG blow by and disappear.

I'd track a "Wheezer" if it were Kpowered though.
Film editing id give you a B.
Music.. made me start groovin as I was drinking my coffee!

The coasting was the right thing to do.
Many yahoos, try and get the car back on track, and end up flipping it.
I saw one of those at buttonwillow last year.
Both drivers had to be cut from the car and luckilly werent hurt too bad.
The Civic SI totalled.
