First off, I havent had even a second to look at the car because of work. But, I figured someone could point me in the right direction or at least tell me if I'm on the right track as I will have about 2 hours of sunlight to figure it out.

I have a 90 CRX with a b16a, ls trans. When I drive for a while (20+ min) the car will leave really poorly. Bogging, choking, almost like something is choking off the fuel or something. For the first time yesterday, as I was driving for about 30 mins all over the place, it started to smell like something was burning, but not like oil. Car was not overheating. Thought it might be my clutch going.

Talked to another friend and he said its possible that one or more of my spark plugs are fouled. Definitely the first thing I will check tonight.

No Check Engine lights. When car is cold, its fine but as it warms up, the bogging starts and it starts to smell. Not like oil burning though.

Ideas?

 

Just to add to this thread:

I just failed inspection yesterday. Failed HC PPM (pass was around 200, my idle was over 600! holy ****) but my high idle just barely failed. So at idle something is going on and when I leave the line, thats why it bogs. Stuck injector causing fuel to leak and when i punch it at the line it bogs because of that?
