Because your new, I'm gonna tell you there's like 10 of these threads at least a day so nobody's gonna spoon-feed you answers to simple questions like this. Read the FAQ's and DIYs at the top of the EF/CRX forum and use keywords to search in google.
If I was you, do any maintenance (tune up, replace worn bushings/balljoints etc) and then look for a set of height adjustable coilovers and some sticky *** tires first. A lot of people don't know how much handling improvements can make light *** CRX fun to drive. Then look into small upgrades like intake/header/exhaust. Although by the time you buy all those you could have paid for half of an LS swap (that will be much faster then any bolt on part that you put on you DX motor)

dpfi to mpfi conversion and an si tranny
otherwise, just do the mpfi thing and an ls or b20 swap.

should have told me that before ok seriously... since u dont know much about cars.. researching online and read ppls thread through this site will help u learn alot...
but ur crx dx wont get much power at all without MAJOR work!
swap in a d16(1.6 liter) for at least a workable motor to try build it...
but like most ppl will say save up alot of cash and swap in a B..
but since u dont know much.. try to make ur car look clean and drivable for ur taste.... i dont think u can handle alot of power yet...

lol do they even make chipped pm5 ecu's, that would be the stupidest mod ever. Even putting on little mods on ur d15 wont make that much more horse power, since dual point engines dont respond much at all to mods. Do what they said and research on how to swap to multi point fuel injection and then go from there dont waste time moding a
d15
d15
its easy to make popwer with any motor
the dual point system is restricted, yes, but you can bump it up 10-20whp with a few mods, and that is still keeping the same dual point system intact

some guy here in milwaukee did a turbo 88 dx and left it dpfi and it made no power it was horrable he would just showoff his ebay blow off valve and he wanst even from tha hood and he tryed to roll all hard
intake, exhaust most common thing done. wont get you tones of power but some is some and its the cheapest.
if you really want to cheap out get a bunch of nos stickers they add about 10 hp each.
lol what motor do you have?

Ive seen in person a 200whp dual point that had a ton of *****, it was very torquey
Dual point is almost the closest thing to a carb'd setup for honda fuel injection.
this is exactly the same motor u have in that dx hatch of urs... except this has full bolt ons
