need HELP verifying this D15B7 head is good or not!!!!!!!!!
I have a 93 civic with a d15b7 that I just bought to fix. The motor has oil and water mixture, so I assume head gasket. I pull of the head and I find that there are busted areas in the original head gasket.
But when I look at the valves underneath the head, there are some that are raised. I have gear with the UP letters at the top of the cam gear.
No matter what position the cam gear sits, there are at least a couple raised valves. Someone please let me know if this is normal with this D series head.
