hey guys well this is my first crx si ever and yes its a honda i love hondas im gonna be posting the progress of my car and how im fixing it up and making it look better and gaining horse power and what not ill keep you guys updated with what ever i do to it

do you guys see anything nthat might not be an si option on here i know not many pictures but what do you guys think

 

The ugly upholstery and steering wheel were not a Si option,But overall good base to start with.

 

yeah i figured the bad looking upholstery and the nardi wheel is not original. i was wondering about that wing thing it has

 

Looks nice. Fix hood corner light and lip thats attached by zip tie and it will look 100x better

looks like a Special Edition Spoiler,your car looks canadian.I don't see door mounted seatbelts and your door handles and mirrors are painted

 

the seat builts are mounted to the door and on the door jam it has the blue vin stamp starting with j

 

lol I couldn't really see with your pics.So not a canadian model,but your spoiler looks like a special edition one though

 

ok i was wondering what was sup with that spoiler havent really seen it. but yeah i need some fixing up to do make her look purty

anyone else have thoughts on the spoiler

i asked my friend and he said the lights that are diff are the 88 that 89-91 are the same?

 

88-89 crx tail lights won't have a dark outline around the tail lights,like the 90-91 tail lights do.

 

A little rough, but nothing some cleaning and a little work cant fix. deffinately a nice find, should clean up very nicely. I'm actually kinda jealious, blade silver is probably my favorite color on a CRX. lol I have the same wheels, mine are poweder coated white though. but overall good find.

 

Great buy! I picked up an 89 Blade Silver Metallic CRX Si just like yours last year. They are fun little cars so you will have a great time working on this car in the near future. Good luck with things and take your time!

are these si's supposed to have rear disk breaks factory? mine has drums

 

'88-'89 si had drums, '90-'91 si had disc.

 

The wing is a special edition wing but also the Si-R wing. They're really the same.

I think only the 90-91's came with rear discs.I have 91 Si and a 88 Si.The 88 has rear drums and 91 has discs.

and lol The color is not white! It's blade silver.
