Default Can I use b20 cams on an ls head?

I have a b20z block and the head is gone. I decided to switch the head with an ls head however, I switch over the b20 cams, cam caps/holders, and rocker arms over to the ls head. Is this going to work? I haven't started the motor up yet. Do I need to use ls cam caps and rocker arms for the ls head?

I don't see why not when people can actually put in LS cams into B16 heads. But I'm not sure how it will affect your performance though.

YES, you can switch over anything from the LS head to the B20 head . They are the same and fully interchangeable.

This is totally FALSE, you CANNOT put LS cams into a Vtec head. or vice-versa .

b16,b18c1,b18c5 head internals are all interchangeable . but not with b18a,b18b,b20.

well I know for sure you can swap cams but what about the head internals? like rocker arms, cam cap/holders?? The thing is that everything is already swapped over. The problem is that it seems as though the cam caps/holders are super tight when I torque it down, to the point that the cams aren't even able to move.

I tried moving the cam gears so that the pointers are set at TDC because I was also changing the timing belt. However, it seem as though the cam and the gears wouldn't budge at all! I mean how is the belt suppose to move it if I can't even turn it myself? Is that normal?

You can NOT use the cam caps from one head on another. These parts are specific to each individual head and can not be interchanged, as you've discovered with the binding. Use the original caps.
You should not have any issues with rocker arms or camshafts, so long as they're in good condition and don't have any abnormal wear.
