Can i use one off like DA or DC or something or do i have to buy a swap bracket from innovative or hasport?

Thanks

the civic has a d series compressor, you are best to get an Innovative bracket. I bought one for my crx, it was $75 plus shipping when i shopped on ebay for it

Yeah, deal come up on ebay from time time, i guess i got a good deal

I do have a crv a/c bracket sitting around if you want to modify it and cut the torque mount arm off. It's includes the tension pulley also $60. I have never done it, but it does bolt up to a b series block, and does use a d series compressor mount
I know you are local to me

So CRV is using same bolt pattern as d-series compressor?

I moved to Toronto so you would have to ship it to me.

I always thought that CRV bracket was only for EG and EK. Can anyone else confirm that it will work?

The crv and del sol B16 vtec both use a d series compressor. Most people use them for B swaps in EG and EK's because you need the arm that sticks out of the side of it for the torque mount

that make sense. Then i just cut that arm off and it should bolt up. Do you have a compressor by chance laying around that you compare too to be 100% sure?

Did crv came with b20b? or b20z? That bracket is off b20b so it might be out of a Integra, meaning a different compressor?

Alos, by looking at some swap brackets Hasport is compatible with either Sanden or Matsushita.

And Innovative is only Sanden

Compressor i got(for a sweet $100, so im not buying another one) is a Matsushita

How do i know if the CRV, which btw had a completeley different name compressor will work with Matsushita or Sanden?

No Integra ever came with a B20, period!!!!

The crv was B20B in 1997-98 and 99-01 was the B20Z...same bracket anyway

But i wonder what D-series compressor it would be compatible with? Sanden or Matsushita?

Since you have the Matsushita compressor you are going to have to spend the money on the Hasport bracket. I found mine on Ebay new for $175. It's a nice bracket and everything fits correctly. I would spend the money and do it right the first time.

Agree, but every time i see one for sale its 200 plus shipping. Everyone seems to ship with UPS. When you ship with UPS to Canada you can expect to pay like 45% duty and taxes. 300+ in the end for a bracket seems a bit extreme so i want to see what are my other options.

CRV uses HADSYS compressor, which can also be found on a 95 civic LX for example.
Some other civics came with Sanden Compressor, like 95 civic EX.

What i want to know: Does the HADSYS and Matsushita compressors use the same bolt pattern?

Or does the Hadsys and Sanden share the same bolt pattern?
