tranny difference
anyknow the difference between the si and dx tranny . i recently noticed the rpm difference in the tranny i just installed .. at about 3000 rpms im at 70 mph , this new tranny 3500 rpm at 70 ... i was under the ussumption that the other tranny was an si , how can you tell the diff visually.

Is the gearing for a 88-89 Si tranny the same and the gearing form a 90-91 Si tranny?
And how can you tell visually what year and what kind of tranny( DX or Si) you are getting?
