that heads is ported for sure.. looks like the work of wetbag performance, i'm not sure about the springs but those cams are obviously the ***** sticks stage 4 by dominatrix. dude you got a deal there.
thanks dude.. i appreciate the feedback. you just made my night.. the dude said it was stage 3 cams..

you have to show pics of the ports and pics of the markings on the cams to find out if it's ported and has cams.
i can't see any work to the chambers themselves tough

Yeah, I know your knew to the Honda Game, but....
that head looks pretty dirty... how many miles are on it?
it looks to me like you've got some after market springs and retainers on one side and stock on the other. or at least they look different..
all port jobs are not created equal. what you want to know is what it flows. (a bad port job could flow "worse" than stock.) try to find a shop with a flow bench so they can give you some real numbers to compare to stock. surely stock flow rates for a B16 can be found on the forums somewhere. all you'll get with showing us pics is a "probably, by the looks of it..." or "probably not, looks stock..."
you can also measure the lobes and the base circle on the cam and math-out the lift. it may not absolutely identify them, but it'll narrow it down.

thanks guy... i appreciate the feedback.. i will take some more pic or just take to a machine shop.. i just hope im not losing out in this deal.. im stressed i payed some money for this.
*****? c'mon.. it wasnt that funny though. smh!
that head is just polished inside the intake ports like i said earlier, cannot really tell on the exhast because of carbon build ups. but just by polishing the ports will not make any differents from a stock head, unless a different/better valve job was performed.
dude relax with the bumps...
the answers will come

The Head is from a '99 B16 motor; probably an EM1 Si head as you can see the marking in picture #2.
It does look like its got some aftermarket retainers and valve springs though.

It had minor port work on the intake side mostly in the throat area and at the very top of the divider. Can't tell on the exhaust due to the poor lighting and carbon. Combustion chambers (like the rest of the head) is a mess with oil and dirt, where did you pull that thing out of? Looks like aftermarket retainers but hard to tell about the springs without seeing them off or looking at the cams for markings.
Those are stock valves, crower retainers and most likely valve springs. Also looks like the things been sitting for a while. Better hope it wasnt sitting on the mating surface cuz it'll fer sher be warped...
thanks guy for the feedback and as far as the font.. why use the boring black standard color? anyway, i payed 750 for the head, like a dick head, someone vouch for the dude i bought from but im not sure if it what he says it is. first of all the cams he claimed are stage 3. no where on the cams do u see any stamps to indicate that. smh, imma get cleaned up soon..
